A cage-like pavilion of variable transparency and density that holds the outline of a muqarnas within it. Responding to the Biennale's theme of emotions, it gives form to the dualities of contemporary Iran (ancient and modern, outside pressure and inner life), with the cage read as a device that can both trap beauty and contain what one fears.
